- No, Mega Blastoise does not wear sunglasses when it Mega Evolves, though the glasses will return once it reverts to normal Blastoise
- 1/4 Egg Hatch distance, 3 hour Incense and Lures, and a limited number of Snapshot Photobombs
- A $1.00 Special Research line will be available in the shop

Community Day Classic returns in July! This event will feature the Tiny Turtle Pokémon, Squirtle! We’re excited to feature Squirtle, Pokémon No. 0007, during the 7th anniversary of Pokémon GO!

Evolve Wartortle (Squirtle’s Evolution) during the event or up to two hours afterward—from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time—to get a Blastoise that knows the Charged Attack Hydro Cannon.

Field Research
Squirtle-themed Field Research will be available! Catch Squirtle to earn an encounter with Squirtle wearing sunglasses.

- Stay tuned for when tickets for the Special Research story go live.
- Don’t forget: you’re now able to purchase and gift tickets to any of your friends that you’ve achieved a Friendship level of Great Friends or higher with.* To gift a ticket, tap the Special Research ticket in the in-game shop, then tap the Gift button instead of the Buy button.
