Chansey was the first rare mon to flee from me when I started playing, I took that very personal and almost lost a couple friends for making them pull over so I could catch a Chansey (Kidding. :P)
I started gen2 with over 500 chansey candies but now this hatred is growing inside again for her and I kinda want to boycott blissey as I did with vaporeon..
Idk.. I have one bliss i powered to max at 2939 but honestly I don't even like using her.. I'm on instinct so its not like I'm holding a gym, now I'm just the asshole making everyone enjoy the game less.... lol. I think I'm gonna go with snorlax

This is a fault in game design, not your fault. Niantic could just release an update, and there would be only one blissey per gym.
It is the players job to stress the system until it changes for the better. It is not the players job to hold themselves back to simulate a working system.

You will not be able to put a pokemon into this gym. I doubt you do not have 10 different pokemon. So you most likely put a sub-optimal pokemon (Arcanine, Flareon, Steelix, Cloyster, Tentacruel, Poliwrath) into this gym. So everybody is forced to have some of these too.
This is the desired effect.
Right now, it's Kabuto. I'm 25 km away from Kabutops, the only Gen 1 that I can still walk to. Then there's stil need Porygon and Hitmonlee to get for Gen 1.
Not sure, what's next. I only have one Chansey and I keep a living Dex so I need to catch or hatch another or catch a Blissey to get a Blissey. Might start walking her anyway to get ahead.
I also have a high CP 96% Mareep and 48 Mareep candies. Might start walking one of my three Mareep.
Right now I'm with Larvitar. Will probably walk him til evolution (hopefully not just with buddy candy!) then it'll be onto the one Mareep I found. If it weren't them it'd be Blissey or Snorlax. They're the only 4 I would consider right now, and probably will be for the foreseeable. Maybe Dratini if I really want to power up my Dragons, and their hatch rate drops again.
