Who lives in a Swinub biome?

They're everywhere. Reminds me of the Drowzee days.

For those that live in this biome, what else do you frequently see? Me: Jynx, Krabby, Horsea, Shelldar, Gastly, Sneasel, Wooper, Nidoran, Oddish, Paras, Poliwag, Marill, Zubat... I mean over 50% of spawns are Swinub though.

What type of biome is this considered, ice/water?

Also what rare spawns have those that live in this biome encountered??? Me: Larvitar x1, Phanby x2, Fortress x1, Lanturn x1..... that's about it since gen 2 came out

my biome: sentret, murkrow, swinub, ledyba, rattata, pidgey, hoothoot, spinarak, weedle, teddiursa, natu, eevee, oddish

surprisingly not as many hoppips as I'd assume there would be, but i'll take all the teddi's and swinubs i can.

I'm almost the exact same as you frank - tons of those guys except oddish is fairly rare outside the odd nest. We don't get many bellsprouts either.

We also have a fair bit of cyndaquills but not many random Chikoritas.

edit - we don't have much water here.

I work in a different city than I live, and this is the biome near my work, minus the Oddish and Teddiursa though.

Nice! I haven't had any teddy/hound/sudo spawn. One larvitar and saw a pineCo at a nearby stop

Everything you listed is exactly what I see where I live. And lots and lots of Swinub. Semi-rare are starters of fire type and growlithe/ponyta. I live near a rocky coast so I will see a decent amount, but not frequent, of geodudes/rhyhorns. I rarely see sandshrew, larvitar, Chansey I have never seen, but I do get a fair amount of Dratini living near the coast which is good.

Fires are soo rare for me. Before the starter event I'd never caught a charmander. Haven't seen cyndaquil yet. Rarely if ever seen a growlithe or ponyta, at least near my place... I do get the odd geodude and rhyhorn tho. Just one dratini ever... prior to gen 2 I got a ton of squirtles tho

Tons of swinubs where I live! Other most common are: pidgey, spinarak, rattata, ledyba, sentret. Quite a lot of natu, spearow, wooper, weedle, caterpie, marill, hoothoot, krabby, nidoran, murkrow, eevee, as well. I'd say zubat, oddish, jigglypuff, gastly, hoppip, sneasel, aipom, shellder, jynx, paras, meowth, psyduck, staryu, bellsprout, magikarp, horsea, and teddiursa are also rather common, but less than the pokemon I mentioned before.

Where I'm at Swinub are super common, snubbull, geodude, nidoran, diglett, vulpix, growlithe, spinarak but no other bugs, larvitar are rare but do occur, some mareep, high pikachu and magnetite spawns, mostly ground fire and electric here, tons of swinub but no other ice. Desert biome I guess

Endless ponyta and rhyhorn too but zero grass and water, 1 bug type, 1 fairy type,

My biome is exactly like yours. But also quite alot of seel.
I see it as an ice biome.

As for rares: 3x Lapras; 1 Snorlax; 2 Skarmory, 1 Mantine, 1 Pineco

True, I forgot seel, I get the odd one of those too. I've caught 5x snorlax, 1x lapras

My biome is also almost exactly like the OP's, even down to the "Drowzee days," which were before the Halloween event. Oddly enough, the Drowzees mostly disappeared during the Halloween event (when they were supposed to be more common), and they never really returned in the same numbers.

I used to sometimes see 4-5 Drowzees at a single intersection, and that's the way it is with Swinubs now. In the main pokestop-heavy spot that I frequent, I could probably catch 50+ Swinubs and 4-5 wild Piloswines in a couple of hours if I tried.

And yes, I consider it an ice/water biome. I've caught 4 of my 5 wild Laprases in the same 2x5 block suburban downtown where I see all the Swinubs, along with Krabbys, Horseas, Shellders, Jinxes, and the occasional Seel.

Yup, the Drowzee' packed their bags and took off, never to return (in large numbers), I was so happy. Those mons you mentioned are the ones I see the most. Also Tauros, but since gen 2 dropped, they've seemed to have pulled a Drowzee.

Yup same biome here. I also get tons of standard water mons like Golden, Staryu, Psyduck, Poliwag and also the odd Dratini.

I have only ever seen one Swinub on the nearby.

Snubull everywhere, houndour, murkrow, natu, spinarak, hoothoot and sentret. Throw in Sudowoodo and Aipom a bit and you have my local area.

I am so close to my gold medal for dark mons (193), but still only bronze (21) for ice.

Same here no swinub or ice mons near me, but have tons of murrow, natu, spinarak, hoot hoot and sentret. You in the SF Bay Area?

Australia.

Not really conducive with Ice...hopefully they move south for the winter though.
