What do we do next week?
So assuming Mewtwo is pretty much like a buffed up legendary bird, and by this time next week we have powered up Birds and maybe a Mewtwo or more....then what?
Are we seriously going to take a 3800+CP Mewtwo down to the local gym to mow down Raticates, Furrets, and 400CP Blisseys?
I don't think they've thought this quick release of Mewtwo through very well. They should have thought about what a powered up Mewtwo would be good for other than a trophy and dex entry. They could have rolled out PvP. Given us a break to go play with the Birds for a while. Or even gone with a release of Gen3 or the dogs first. I don't understand the thinking here. Anybody else?

I think they should have gotten rid of the three legendary birds but continued to spawn 5 star Lugia raids. Mewtwo just feels like a legendary that would be better suited for a yearly milestone, such as New Years. Mewtwo just feels like an odd legendary to release right now but still it will be pretty cool to battle against him.

It's not like attacking is particularly difficult in the current meta without Mewtwo. The difference between having Mewtwo and not having him, for the majority of Level 30+ players, is just potion efficiency. If you live somewhere with few Pokestops I guess that could be a big deal, but not anywhere else.
I just use blisseys to clear out weak mon from gyms. When they faint, I revive them, but don't restore them to full health. This is very potion efficient If there is anything in the gym that would give blissey trouble, I have lots of specialist attackers, that I can use on one or two troublesome mon. It is basically, shooting fish in a bowl, already.
