What is the best move for Vilepume?

I have 2 vileplume both with 91% IV but with different movement one with Acid / Solar Beam and another with Razor Leaf / Solar Beam which should I choose to give powe up?
Thank you!

Razor Leaf and Solar Beam and he can be your attacker vs Vaporeon. It is the best attacking moveset vs water types.

After the nerf to Vileplume's CP he isn't worth using as a defender unless you want to show him off in a gym - that is about it.

He's good for attacking water types though with your double grass moves.

Personally? I prefer RL over Acid

They're both fine in terms of raw DPS vs. neutral attacker, but vs. Vaporeon (which is the only time I'm going to be using a Vileplume) RL is the superior move.

Razor leaf is terrible for attacking. Sadly, Vileplume is not very good

Razor Leaf makes dodging awkward. Razor Leaf/Solar Beam can work against Vaporeon and Rhydon if you don't have anything better, but you will miss a lot of dodges or have to go slower. Either way, it will limit how many defenders you can go through with one attacker.

Vine Whip/Solar Beam is the best grass/grass attacking moveset. That is unfortunately only available on Ivysaur (good trainer), Venusaur, and Tangela.

Exeggutor with Zen Headbutt/Solar Beam is a better alternative than Razor Leaf/Solar Beam. Exeggutor has higher attack to make up for a lack of super effective. Zen Headbutt is still a little awkward to spam and dodge, but it is a little better and Exeggutor has higher HP to help compensate. Also, Exeggutor is generally just a strong attacker that I will sometimes choose to use against Snorlax.

Vileplume should not be powered up, save dust for tier 1
