They rlly need to change this

Pokemon must return to the owner after it has collectyed the coins
This is only solution that will work always

Other solutions just dont work if everyone in the area are same color and there is only small player base of attackers.
They require potions to get those 6 pokemons down every freaking day and most of the casuals will get bored and then again system not work.

I think I prefer the reward for attacking suggestion that some had around here. You get 50 coins for defending, 50 for completing all gym challenges that are earned through attacking, feeding your own team and spinning the gym sign. That way there would be a reason to kick the enemy team out.
While I would indeed like to be able to retrieve mons, then people would just abandon the gym and no attacks will take place, more like swapping places (most of the time on the same team).

Some areas are dominant by one team, gyms full of 6 pokemons.
Blissey Snorlax etc. etc.

You rlly think casuals have time and interest to beat your gyms down every freaking day.

Your idea wont work, trust me.
It sounds very lame, but only thing that work is pokemon returning after it has collected the coins.

It sounds very lame idea, but its only lame when 99% of player base choose to be in dominant team.
They have created this problem by themselves.

Also your idea only supports idea of having multiple accounts.

Also you totally forgot that some countries have winters.
Player base will die during these times and again your idea doesnt work, unless multiple accounts for those rare active guys.

It's not my idea, it's other people's idea, on this very forum (and it keeps reappearing in almost every thread). I am a casual. I kick people out of gyms too (and this system made it possible to kick them out using even weaker mons so a noob could do it in spare time). Mystic started dominating the area whereas before it used to be all 3 teams fighting over the few gyms we had. Now they've added too many gyms here.

My idea is actually the one you're supporting: the ability to recall your pokemon after a while, or the pokemon returning. But as it is, only shavers are profitting. I have no alt accounts, and seems neither do all these people who have stagnated here.

Of course the dominant team will aggravate this situation. If a player from the minority team takes out a gym, thus sending the defenders home with 50 coins each, he will place a defender himself. Which will be send back within minutes with few or no coins, as players from the dominate team could not wait to take back the gym.

it's what i was finding so i stopped taking their gyms. So one of them (the best know cheater in my region) uses a second account (while spoofing) to kick his own mons out and immediately restock.

It is very tempting to do just that. And you are not even hurting anybody. The other players, whose defenders are also kicked out of the gym, are happy about that. One double accounter provides stable 50 coins for six players this way.

I would prefer a 10 / 100 / 1h system, where you are allowed to have at most 10 Pokemon in a Gym at the same time, can get up to 100 coins a day and are awarded 1 coin for every started hour IMMEDIATELY.

So you would get a coin immediately upon putting your Pokeomon into a gym, and if it stays there for a while, you'd get a coin for every hour it stays in there.

On the shop screen (where you could previously cash out gym rewards) is a counter that tells you how many coins you already earned for the day (e.g. 31/100)

with 10 Pokemons placed in gyms you could have your reward completet at 9:01 am. You have an incentive to take down an enemy gym even in an area dominated by enemy teams as you are guaranteed to get at least 1 coin for "conquering" the gym. You are not dependent on others to clear off the gym
