Tangela over Vaporeon!?

I have a Tangela 93% IV Vine Whip/Solar Beam with 841 CP, and I beat a Vaporeon standing at Gym with 1602 CP LOL!! I liked how good Tangela dodge!!

Thinking about power up Tangela!!
Do u guys habve a good Tangela? Test agains Vaporeons on Gym!!!

i've got 1,4k tangella. With proprer dodging she can take down two 2,2k vaps

I put my jolteon at same cp than vaporeon, he almost died! So i put that Tangela with half cp and she destroyed Poreon! I was impressed!!

Maybe, she better that Guttor for Vaporeon!! I donw know haha

Grass is resistant to water and does extra damage to water, while electric only does extra damage to water.

If you just want to take down one Vaporeon as fast as possible, Jolteons are better because of their higher attack, but if you want a Pokemon that can take down more than 1 before needing to be switched out or fainting then a grass type is better.

I prefer to keep mine lower cp because it works well for training gyms

I am also a huge fan, have also a couple 90%+ IV and at the moment I prefer also a lower CP for training Gyms. Think she also get a next evolution in Gen3 or 4? A little bit to far in the future maybe :)

I consistently use tangelas to train gyms. They are awesome. I love them!

I've hatched three . I kept the vine whip/power whip and vine whip/sludge for training but powered up the vine/Solar to 1742 (hoping for even more candies). Probably my favourite grass attacker now - way better than Vileplume.
