softbanned breakthrought

just for curiosity, because i don't, what happens if you get a legendary research breakthrought when you are softbanned? because research breakthrought pokemon cannot run away...

I thought only spoofers worry about softban ??
But to answer ur question softban doesn't affect pokemons from breakthrough or quests
One can catch them at anytime and they never run away

And if you try and they flee while soft banned they seem to go back into your saved quest inventory

I’ve gotten soft banned for short periods when I snag a wild mon or raid boss while on a raid train and catch it somewhat further than normal

It's easy to get softbanned due to GPS drift with some phones and using go plus/gotcha. I've gotten softbanned for example after going into the subway and my avatar jumping around the city in a 5km radius before I realized what was going on and stopped pressing go plus. The softban only lasts for 10 minutes for a minor infraction like this so it's fortunately not a big deal.

It's not just breakthrough, all research pokemon are unable to flee.
If you're softbanned or catchbanned and try to catch a research pokemon, you'll see the flee animation but the pokemon will just go back to your queue.
