Snorlax power up dilemma

Um so, if you in a row boat with 12 other people do you just pretend to row?

Lv20 Z/Hs would be your most candy efficient option for a good defender.

From my personal experience, L/Bs can work okay for offense but L/Hb feels too slow. Those are two wild caught Snorlax at prestige ranges; I haven't powered up any Lick Snorlax for attacking enemy gyms though.

I'd just continue to stockpile candies if I were you. What's the IV distribution of your 89?

Personally, I rarely use snorlax on offense except another snorlax, and I use ZN because they resist lick. So i would power up the ZN one...my personal opinion.

If the att stat for your lvl 11 snorlax is highest and you have enough candy (that's slot of walking) to power up to lvl 30 then I would consider your ZH+BS. Otherwise ZH+HS is your only other option for a defensive snorlax. Lick is just a terrible quick move for snorlax and would only use for def if you had no other options.

I would just do this one since CP is still king for gym defense:
lvl 20 89IV ZH/HS (defender)

Snorlax is not a problem for anyone Lvl 26+ and if you need defenders for the current gym meta, you need one with the best CP you can muster...

Rhydon's Max CP is very close to Snorlax and candies are much easier to get...That and in gen 4, Rhyperior is here...(and maybe a new gym ranking system or total new gym system).
