Jolteon is not a bad choice.

Confusion will tear Gengar apart if you aren't an expert dodger. Jolteon is solid. I normally use Umbreon.

L/HB snorlax if you got it.

Lick will be super effective against psychic type, and even though he doesn't resist either of the moves, his buk alone will help soak up all th big hits from confusion.

Snorlax is good yes, i use lick + body slam.

Same snorlax can kill 2x 3300cp dragonites before fainting. (SW/DP and SW/DC)

In general snorlax is good attacker.
He maybe cant kill that fast, but he has good defense and high healt pool, which means max potion gives more healt back.

But i only recommend using snorlax as attacker if you dont have any better pokemon for your current situation.

Or if you are out of small potions but have plenty of max potions.

LoL I hate Slowbros, they are extraordinarily hard to prestige with, like Lapras, even with a couple of Exeggutors, the problem is Confusion, which is one of the strongest defensive moves.

Umbreon will get killed because of its low ATK stat before it kills athe Slowbro.

You're kidding, right? Umbreon takes out 2 Eggys with only dodging charge moves.

Agree and have done it too. Gym near me had 2 exeggutors and gyarados. Both had solar beam as their charge move and that was the only move I dodged. 1 umbreon took both out

FC / X-Sc. Scizor would be the best option, resist both moves and deal SE damage

Good answer. But slowbro is pretty much useless now (at least in my area) since more and more people got good snorlaxes, blisseys, dragonites, vapes, gyaradoses, tyrants, and even confusion eggmen are better defenders than slowbro. Yes he has good defensive moveset like confusion and ice beam, but his stats alone make him an easy prey for attackers and good luck placing him at the bottom of thy gym. I usually use my L/HB snorlax against slowbro when I see one, though it's been months I haven't seen one.

It's sad really. Slowbro is such a good defender, but you can't use him because of his guaranteed low gym placement.

Yeah I agree he used to be a good defender months ago when many people still don't have blisseys, snorlaxes, dragonites, and when 1500-2000 CP is good enough to defend a gym. These days nobody needs slowbro and in my area, a lvl 10 gym's bottom floor is usually 2700-2900 CP, some lvl 10 gyms even only have 3000 CP++ mons.
