Should I power up my Dragonite?

Hi, I've recently evolved my Dratini all the way to Dragonite. I'm lvl 30 currently.

my Dragonite is 2017CP , 86.7%IV (15-9-15) atk-def-sta
moveset (Steel Wing-Dragon Pulse)
my question is pretty straightforward , should I power it up or not ? Obviously it has the best defensive moveset so I'll be using it for defensive purposes.I want it to be on top of gyms . What would you do?
I want to get your idea before doing anything else.
note: Currently I have 52 dratini candies...

I love my defense dragonite, dragon pulse hits very hard. I'd say bring that one to 3000 and start saving for your next one.

yes , this is my first dragonite.

High IV dratinis are getting harder to find. Depends on your patience threshold. You do have a pretty good IV and ideal move set so it's a tough call. Also depends on how rare dratinis are in your area. I evolved my first Dragonite when I had over 400 dratini candies. I was patient but also had easy access to spawn spots. Good luck on whichever decision you make!

Nice defensive moveset - I'd power up to 3000ish. My first Dragonite had DB/HB - fine as an attacker as is but a mediocre defender so I'm not powering up beyond 2200 ish unless I get a lot of spare candy (unlikely).
