Scizor as attacker, what do you think?

Placed in the 3+ tier list but in my experience is more effective than others placed above.
My Scizor has bullet punch/X scissors, good moveset to attack Exeggutor, Tyranitar, Dragonite and many others. One of my bests and favourites

Hes very good in a few certain cases,

being overall more specialised is the specific reason for his tier placement i think.

Agreed. He'll tear through pokemon like Exeggutor, and should perform adequately against most others, but against common defenders (Snorlax, Blissey, Dragonite, etc.) there's always going to be someone better at the job.

He does resist all of Blissey's moves.

I've been wondering whether to power up my FC/IH Scizor to level 30. What's people's experience with those moves? Could he take out a Blissey? If not, I might not bother...

Same here. I need to try the match up when I attack a gym solo.

I like Scizor but he is not a generalized pokes...

I have used 2300 cp FC/IH Scizor and its good vs blissey so far . I just bumped it up to level 31 so will see if that helps it more as a generalist .

Just tested it out ... 2500 cp Scizor FCIH ripped through Blisseys just now battling . 30 -35 seconds to kill 2500 cp Blissey . Did more damage to them than my Uraring CCC 2300 cp or Dragonite SWOR 3100 cp.
