Possible Team Preview in PvP?
PvP, in its current form, is beginning to take off in terms of popularity. Given how casually I play the game (don't raid much - it's mainly an egg hatching and buddy Pokemon app with some gym battles on my daily commute) and how much I played Pokemon Showdown for a number of years (at least 5 years, was consistent top 10 player in Gen 4 and 5), I wanted to see what can be done with PvP.
After some research, I couldn't help but notice the lack of a team preview. My initial thoughts ranged from taking comfort in the fact that no one would know I'm keeping a specific Pokemon in the back, to me losing a battle due to having multiple type disadvantages with limited switches.
I purpose a version of team preview that was being used back in Gen 5 for the handheld Wi-Fi battles:
- Pick your team of 6
- Enter a team preview
- Pick 3 Pokemon of your choice and order, based on the team preview
