Pikachu Yokohama event a success pretty much?

Haven't seen much hate at this event and from all forum messages, it seems like there were very few connectivity issues in general...Even seeing the thousands of people in pics around Yokohama didn't seem to do much to phase the playing ability of the game...The Pokemon Company may have something to do with this too simply having more "PULL" as a company and lessons from the Chicago event as well.

A lot of this is probably also due to limiting the amount of people actually IN the stadium for the Mewtwo battle and probably also Cell Coverage is generally much much better in pretty much anywhere else in the world vs. the US due to monopolies (more in Internet access) and denser cities, etc...

Anyone go with thoughts to share how future events can be done? It seems having events ALL OVER a city, etc...is going to better in the future for every event vs. a small enclosed spot.

Hoping the US actually gets some of these events eventually/soon since other than Chicago, they seem to have been pretty left out.

If they had cell coverage issues in Japan then there would be no hope for the rest of us.

I saw some video and thought to myself how amazing it would be to go to a Football stadium and do that.So simple and organized for the crowd, that video was hype.

An event, requiring technology and organisation.

In Japan it goes off without a hitch, and people go home happy after a successful event.
In America, it falls over in many ways, people don't get what they are promised. Participants make a big thing of it and then they prepare to sue each other.

To be honest it appears there is nothing to learn here, it seems the status quo is preserved.
