Oh Very Happy Day

In mid-April, I posted that I had finally caught a Lapras (my second last Pokemon to complete my Gen 1 Pokedex).

Well, yesterday evening I finally caught that elusive Aerodactyl to complete my Gen 1 pokedex after almost 10 months of playing (I am nearly level 34).

Having a long weekend in Kiel, Germany, and after going out for a meal and a long walk with my wife, I saw an Aerodactyl shaped silhouette and a Lavitar on the in-game tracker.

Aerodactyl is the one missing 'mon that I had to complete Gen 1, while I am still 30 candies short of evolving my first T-rex. According to the in-game tracker, the two were in opposite directions and I did not know the area.

My iPhone had 6% charge remaining and the clock was counting . . .

In addition, domestic duties called and I had to take the dog for a walk.

Unfortunately for the dog, he did not have much time to pee or shit before I got to the Pokestop with the Aerodactyl.

I had planned my tactics on the way: a Razz berry with an Ultra ball and a Curve ball (as anyone would do). I missed with the first throw, but hit with a Great throw on my second throw.

I am now the proud owner of a 34 CP Aerodactyl !!!

Gen 1 complete and I couldn't be happier after 4 days short of 10 months playing PoGo.

F#$@ing Brilliant !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

P.S. Thank you "rock event".

P.P.S. I am on a business trip to the US next month and hope for a Tauros !

Good luck with the Tauros. I used to see them fairly often, but I've only seen two or three since Gen 2 came out.

Yeah, you may be disappointed w/regards to the tauros. Until Gen2, they were way the hell too common, we all had tons and most ignored them. Since gen2, I haven't seen a single one.
