Most costly mistakes....

Whilst returning to the car yesterday loaded up with shopping, I accidentally fat fingered a second charge move on a 30cp Luvdisc. While this may sound amusing, the 50k dust it cost me was most certainly not! This got me thinking, I guess I'm not alone on this with where the buttons are situated, so, what are your most costly mistakes?

Evolving my 100% Totodile before community day. If only I knew... :(

I hatched a perfect Bulbasaur and immediately evolved it.

A few days later, Bulbasaur Community Day was announced.

I spent 20 rare candies on a Miltank the first day that we could use items on Pokémon directly, instead of going through the Items box. It had "Body Slam" and I got it into my head I was looking at one of my Snorlax.

Vhoops.

I powered up a Crobat and added a 2nd charge move. It was around 50,000 (probably more) stardust (I powered the Crobat from level 28.5 to level 33.5). Next day I cought a 98% level 35 Zubat. So basically, I powered up a Pokemon and added a 2nd charge move because I didn't have a better one, and the next day I cought a better pre-evolution who is much better in terms of IV (the Crobat that I powered up is around 60-70% IV). If I would've cought the Zubat before powering up the Crobat, I could've saved 50,000+ stardust. Now you must be asking yourself: "Why did you power up Crobat?" well, my answer to that is "Ultra league". Ofcourse it's not as bad as giving Luvdisc a 2nd charge move... but it's the worst stardust waste that happend to me. Side note, I always plan for like a month to upgrade Pokemon because of stuff like this can happen... this time I should've waited a little longer...

Accidentally dropping coin on a pair of pants in the shop. Luckily they were able to remove the item and refund my coins, so that's something.

When TM'ing Shadow Ball onto all of my Mewtwo before it went legacy, I was swiping through them to make sure they all had it. One glitched and displayed Psychic as its move, so I spent another TM on it for it to - ironically - learn Psychic again. The amount of additional TM's I spent on that one Mewtwo as a result prevented me from teaching Shadow Ball to all of them before it went away.

Once while trying to make bag space after one of the bird raid days, I ended up needing to ditch a bunch of Hyper Potions and GRB. The number in by bag didn't update immediately so I went to toss them again and ended up deleting all of my hyper potions and all of my GRB as a result. Whoops.

Doing things while I’m falling asleep. Like deleting a hundo eevee and chikorita and seeing them go as I wake up.

Cleaning bag space before your could feed berries to guys in gyms. Realizing I just threw away about 100 rare candy instead of raspberries

One night I was taking my baby and dog out for a walk. After untangling the leash from one of the stroller's wheels I looked back at my phone to see I somehow opened my inventory and popped a lucky egg. The very egg I was saving for a mass evolve session.
