Maxed Out Mons

I'm curious what the greater landscape/competition looks like. So, what level are you and how many maxed out mons do you have?

So...how did you get the candy to max two lapras?

Cost me lots of $$ me being addicted to incubators. Most of those came from eggs. It's a hobby I Iove so don't mind spending

Yeah it's the same with me. I have a ton of really high IV mons, most of which came from eggs/incubators I bought.

Kudos man!

Niantic sure knows how to make money. Seems like there are so much more garbage IVs in the wild than before.

Level 31
7 maxed, looking for a couple more to keep up with after changes. Quite a few close to max but caught as high cp and just invested a little into.

Your level and amount maxed?

Level 36 with 19 maxed out ideal moveset mons (17 attackers and 2 defenders).

  • Of the 19, 3 have perfect IVs.
  • No maxed out Snorlax, Lapras, or Dragonite. I do not have any with an ideal moveset and nowhere near enough candies for Snorlax or Lapras anyways.

I've hatched a ton of eggs (paid way too much for incubators) but it's paid off now, especially with this double Stardust weekend. Most of these I've maxed out the past few days.

Haha yeah. I maxed out Rhydon and Golem today due to the beefed up CP.

I've had a tough time getting a high IV Snorlax. I caught a wild one IV 98 but gave me 888 CP and earthquake. Ughhh

Daaamn 19? That's some dust. I'm maxing 2 defensive dragonites with awful ivs. I've gotten EXTREMELY lucky with snorlax hatches and catches number wise but none of them have body slam.

I had 16 candy from beginning of game till Halloween, now I have 280. It's insane. Just one crappy dragon pulse lapras though.

Yea congrats on the 3 perfect Dragonites that awesome! My best Pokémon now is Gyarados almost 3.2k! Rhydon is a beast, I also have a near perfect one with Stone edge and he works out well.

Thanks man. Thank God one of the Dragonite got DB/DC and other two SW/DP. And the perfect dratinis were all caught in the wild before Niantic put a stop to 99% of dratinis having 15 IV for attack. I still need to find a high IV Karp that would give me a good Gyarados moveset. Been getting screwed with that. Haha

I know it's crazy, and nothing really to spend it on, offensive movesets or Zen/earthquake.

really tough to get body slam for some reason. I got a small army of Snorlax but none worth powering. The highest CP one I have is 62 IV with Z/HB. I have to admit I did power it up a couple of times and felt bad about it. Haha. I try to stick to my hard rules but broken them with snorlax

Yep I got 3 or 4 z/HB, one was 2400 53iv wild, after the buff it's 2600. It's still just not that great. I've been on the edge of dumping 90 candy into a Z/eq 91iv just for the fact that it's harder to dodge. I'm thinking Z/BS will never come

how come you can get that much stardust or you use multiple incubator? honestly I didn't buy any incubator and lucky egg , so my stardust mostly from catching I'm nowhere near to maxed out more than 4-6 pokemon at that lvl. But now I'm lvl 34 and can max out only 15 pokemon at lvl 35.5.

Sometimes i buy an incubator, but only with gym-reward-money.
I don't buy incubators for real money, so i do only "max out" to PKM-level 30 (not to 32,5). I stop leveling, when it really starts to be expensive.

I prefer to have a bigger variaty of strong pokemon instead of having fewer absolute max-PKM.

only level 25. One maxed out vaporeon. I am trying to be really patient as I don't have Snorlax, Lapras, Dragonite yet and want to save up stardust for that.
Gym turnover isn't massive in my area and I've found a few remote gyms that nobody seems to go to very much, so I'm doing OK with a few coins every day.

At level 25 you're right where you should be. I didn't max out any mon until I was at level 28 or 29. This game rewards patience. Powering up at higher levels get dust and candy expensive. You want to definitely save them until you find that near perfect or perfect mon with perfect moveset. It sounds unrealistic at the moment but you will find them eventually. It's very rewarding to max out a 96-100IV mon. They are like trophies for putting in the hard work with patience.

I'm lv 34 almost 35 ,The only almost perfect iv and lv 30 mon that I found is Slowpoke the rest I power them up from 20s to maxed out. There is no point to hold on powering up if you can find a good iv and moveset mon, on high lv you will start looking for lower mon with nice iv and moveset anyway .

Level 30 and I've only maxed out one PKM so far--a hatched Lapras with a ideal moveset. So far, I'm content to max out PKM with ideal movesets which you can't get from evolutions (e.g. Lapras, Snorlax, etc). As long as you can catch a sufficient number of the pre-evolved form (like Dratinis for Dragonites), it doesn't make sense to max anything out until you've hit at least level 29. Even then I'd rather save my stardust until I have a PKM that I can use in the situations I'm looking for (i.e. attacking/defending or both).

As a result, I'm sitting on over 1.1 million stardust, but I still have a team with many PKM over 2500cp...but none over 3000cp yet. :)

Of course, I may also be an exception in that I haven't spent a dime in-game. All the incubators I've bought have been from holding gyms long enough to collect, so it's a safe bet that I've hatched fewer eggs than most on here. I just prefer to work my way through it versus paying to go faster.

Respect. Takes emormous patience to go over a million dust especially if you're not constantly incubating. My peak was 850k dust with buying incubators. Level 33.
