Lugia, why are you doind this to me? =/

I tried getting a 90%+ IV for each legendary bird, missing Articuno and Moltres. So, I understand the feeling you need to get one. However, 34 raids for Lugia is a lot! IMO Lugia ain't all that. His/her attack stat is low. There are better psychics out there. The only thing Lugia got going is that it's bulky... High defense and stamina. Lugia attacks are weak in my experience. I doubt I am even going to power mine up. Going to save it for Mew2.

34? Ouch. I'm 3/11. My first was 80% (14a/10d/12s) and I had decided that was good enough. Defense is the least important IV on Lugia. Then I caught a 91% (15a/14d/12s) this past weekend and have declared myself done with that one. Good luck if/when you try for 35.

I feel your pain. 21 Lugia raids and my highest cp is 2022, it is only 82%. I also have a 89% one, but that one has a terrible attack statistic, so it only has 2020 cp. But I seem to be generally unlucky with legendary iv's. 31 legendaries caught, only two above 90%. A 91% Moltres and a 91% Articuno (last one with low attack). I find your perfectionism understandable, I'll also continue untill I find a good Lugia. Remember: If you do finally find a high iv one it will be 10 times more special because it was such a pain to get it. And every day you will see that great maxed out Lugia between your t-rexes and dragons, and you will smile! Good luck with the raids!

You can search for the perfect one all you want but just remember it won't make much difference in real battle.

Your gonna hate my luck, I guess for every one of me theres gotta be at least be one you. After starting a dismal 0-6 on my first 6 Lugia/cuno raids Ive run into a bit of luck. Each of my best were caught and as you can see only done 35 legendary raids in total.

Also have a 91% 14.12.15 and a 89% 15.13.12 Lugia as well.

I've never been around anyone but my wife when a Lugia raid was in progress. The two of us have no chance for that.

A lot of my Lugias have been under the 82% appraisal mark. My goal has been to get two of each bird worth powering up and I managed to catch my second 90+% this morning. I think I am done with Lugia now.

Time to move back to Moltres. All of my Moltres have been 82-89% and I'd like at least one 90+%.

That's way too OCD. I have a 80% IV Lugia with ES/FS and I'm not going to try for a better one.

Guess I'm lucky although im not sure what the point of having these mons are other then just to have them.

Ice bird - 2/4 best 91 IV
Psychic bird - 5/8 best 96 IV
Fire bird - 1/6 one I caught 93 IV
Electric bird - 4/9 two 98 IV

Felt like a complete jackass spending $10 on this game again for raid passes, the first money I've spent since Novemberish I would guess.

Suppose it was all the time I put into the game in the past, kinda had to have them, but still don't see the point. Can't possibly imagine doing that many raids...

My top Lugia is 89% but at least it has 15att, so if I don't get a better one I'm ok with that. But I'm still trying. The first one I defeated was 98% but I didn't catch it.

I got a 96% arty in my first catch, a 93% moltres on my first catch, and a 98% Zapdos on my first two catches and never upped those numbers in any of the subsequent catches.

I'm 5 for 9 with Lugia, but the first one I caught was a 100% IV Lugia.
