Luck trades broken?

I would love to hear from your experiences since the higher lucky rate event began. I have heard from 3 different people that they didn't get too lucky and one youtuber that walked away empty handed.
Hopefully they just had bad luck. What have your experiences been?

I made 30 trades yesterday (last night). No luckies

I did fourteen trades yesterday afternoon. Six went lucky, a swap of shiny Dratini, a Magikarp (96%), two Swinub, and an Electabuzz.

It seems that the key, AFAIK, is age (as usual). Instead of trading an Electabuzz for another Electabuzz, my trading partner and I traded something old for the Electabuzz, and then the other way around. So I got a lucky Starmie and a lucky E-buzz, and he got a lucky Golem and a lucky E-buzz. Trying to pull off the same thing with Cranidos today or tomorrow.

First guess is that they took the standard age related lucky probabilities and boosted them, so two recent catches are still a low probability, higher than before but still low, but stuff from, say 2017, is highly likely to go lucky, especially if both pokemon in the trade are old.

One of the really useful tricks is to sort whatever you're trading by age, with the oldest on top. Picking from that pool makes luckies much more likely.

Other trick is to agree to two trades back to back. For example, my Cranidos for something very old of yours, and then your Cranidos for something very old of mine. Functionally, produces a much higher chance of lucky Cranidos for both participants, but it can also mean that one person gets a lucky one and the other doesn't. Best policy is to agree to both trades, knowing the ages of the old one going in. If I'm trading away junk from 2018 and getting junk from 2017, my trading partner has a higher chance of getting the good pokemon to go lucky than I do.

Good luck, all.

Loads of luckies, would say it's under 1 in 10 for me since the event began.

Even had 3 lucky 100%.

Mostly the luck has come from just mass trading with friends and my partner and mostly very recent stuff.

The only time I've tried older stuff to boost specific trades, unfortunately they haven't gone lucky - even trading my oldest 2016 Pokemon.

Was about 1 in 30 before the event.
