Lucario
Now with Power-up punch, Lucario is impressive!
For PVE: It works better than Close Combat, it's DPS went up but still Machamp hits harder. However, take in consideration it's Steel-typing, it gives nice TDO against so many types. It also can carry Shadow Ball, so it's nice to take down gyms too.
For PVP: Now it's a beast. Power-up Punch it's a 3-bar charged move. I'm not sure about the attack rising chances, but mine went up 5 times in a row!
What are your thoughts about Lucario? It gained a new life?

Looking at DPS/TDO and Pokebattler, it seems that CC is still better DPS both for fighting Blissey and for raids, but a 3-bar move is for sure a lot nicer to use.
For PvP, the boost is guaranteed and it apparently makes Medicham so good in great league that I honestly expect Niantic to nerf it soon. Should make Lucario a lot more scary as well since you can now very efficiently bluff with PUP/SB and SB will hit like a truck after a few boosts.
I think some trainers are missing the obvious. With PuP Lucario will be a killer in some select PvE match ups. It has double resistance to rock and will do 256% damage to Tyranitar! With 62% resistance to Normal, Steel, Dark and Ice it will be a good counter to Blissey, Metagross and others. DP Machamp is better but lacks resistance to Steel, Normal and Ice and only single resistance to Rock.
