Legendaries predictions - How will they be acquired?

I was thinking about the legendaries that will be coming this year and since they are heavily related to the teams of PoGo, I started to make some theories about how they will be aquired.

In my opinion, it'll be achievement related. Maybe something related to gyms. Something like, train 3000 would net you your team's legendary, attacking X team 3000 times would net their legendary.

This way they would maintain the status of truly legendaries, being limited to 1 of each per account.

What do you guys think?

I think movesets will be set instead of random like most pokemon.

If you can only get one per account, either these variables shouldn't be random, or you should be able to try again. I would prefer that the variables weren't random. Unless they showed you the results of a reroll, and you got to choose whether to do it or keep your current one. That could work.

Precisely my point. IV and moves HAVE to be to set to avoid ruining an entire account.

Chances are its going to be some sort of personal quest within the game related to your team.

The logistics of having real-world events where you have to travel to get legendaries is basically impossible. The legal implications of if someone got hurt in the mad-dash to get a legendary, or the clogging up a national monument with PoGo players.

Also they will implement some restriction so gyms aren't just full of legendaries. Perhaps it will be only the player who first conquers a gym can place a legendary. Or maybe just one legendary per gym. Who knows.

I dunno. The Gen 1 legendaries wouldn't exactly break the game gym wise. They just aren't that strong.

i agree with you with the legendary each account to avoid spoofers to get many.. and the candy where legenderary will be power up is based on the candys of other pokemons like for example moltress, you can get a candy for powerup for that from the candies of flying and fire type so you can power it up.and i hope theyll 100 iv it give it all to all poeple 100 iv legendaries the only random is the movesets. thats my idea of legendaries for everyone of the world to get it each and its NOT TRADABLE. to make spoofers can only get 1 of them each

You can just walk with your legendary as a buddy for candy, and maybe upon capture the game will give you like 40 candies.

On another note, movesets need to be set since you would not be able to get another copy of the legendary, if you get bad moveset your entire account is doomed.

IVs would be like egg IVs.
66% or more.

Candies would be aquired by the buddy system only.

For fairness since you can't simply catch a better IV Legendary after you get one, the IV would have to be set.

Why not just let them spawn in the wild but only make you able to catch them if you have completed your "Legendary badge" which requires a certain number or type of gold badges. Then we can still enjoy hunting for them.

That would also avoid all of this "one move set" "set IVs" and "no candy" silliness too. Plus you could Pokehunt like the game was meant to be.

I guess if a Legendary appears only 1 player will be able to catch it.. not like "A MEGAZORD A APPEARED GUYS!!!".. will be like oh shhhh nobody needs to know :D

That would be a shame, I think it would be very fun to stand in a huge crowd all trying to capture a legendary.

this would also go against the spirit of the game, since we have been letting each other know where something good has spawned since the beginning.

I just want Zapdos I could care less about the other 2. I am valor and I wouldnt trade teams to the yellow side even for that bird though

I think...

They will be group events where they are in a public place, you register to attack it and get a code to enter.

This will mean you need to appear in person (no spoofers) and you can only get one no matter how many accounts you have ...or have lots of fake ID.

Then over time we all do damage and try to drop it.
Once it falls, then everyone who took part will get it.

The more damage you do, the better the CP.
Everyone will get a random moveset and IV (possibly IV ranges like eggs not wild encounters), so that there are not hundreds of identical mons for everyone in that city/town/region.

Then we all get only one...and spoofers miss out.
It encourages you to do more damage than 1 hit and walking away.
...and it encourages team play, where you get to meet fellow players from your own team.
