Larvitar, where are you?

The first two hours of the event I saw 5 Larvitar. I've seen ZERO since. Smh.

I saw zero at the start of the event despite a serious hunt. I did not see any the next day either in my water/grass biome. I finally ran into one yesterday afternoon while blindly searching for an Onyx that wasn't showing thanks to the shit tracker and a local stop with a Pidgey. I caught it.

I think they are out there in most if not all biomes right now but exceptionally rare.

Rare, almost filled by Slugmas around here.

So far this event there has been one on sighting and then you would never guess what happened my brother got the luckiest gps drift and it popped for him if I didnt get an 87% ditto and an 84% victree bell both caught I would be very mad at the game.

I was just visiting Seattle and caught 12 Larvitars (!) and a wild T-Tar over the course of 3 days. Most of the Larvs were at the very beginning of the event but I was pretty surprised given that it's mostly a grass/ice/water urban biome. Now back home in my arid/desert biome and I haven't seen a single one...

Finally caught my first ever Larvitar during the event today. Level 1, average IVs, but at least I can walk it for candies, so I guess I should be happy.

Wasn't on sightings, but did spawn near a stop. It was in a town, no water nearby. Not sure what biome you'd class it as, the spawns are quite varied.

Seen only one on nearby but didn't feel motivated to walk a half mile.

At least when my local Rocketmap was working, Larvitar spawns went from about 2-3 per day to 2-3 every 30 minutes. But even with such a large proportional increase, I've yet to run across one "in the wild", only found them with a scanner.

I haven't seen any on my radar yet, but I have found two that surprised me when I just happened to stumble on them hanging out at gyms. I guess they're very eager to fight.

And then I got two more of them from a batch of nine 10KM eggs I hatched yesterday.

I caught 2 in the first hour, and two more since then... keep looking!

normally catch about 1 per week and have caught 3 in the last 3 days with relatively little time spent (wife is going to Europe for 2 weeks and have been spending more time with her) thought it was going to take a month to max my t-rex but only need one more catch now.

2 on the first day. None since over here. One was a lv30 6/11/12 that will be over 3k cp evolved without powering up. ~30 more candies to go. I hatch them from eggs once in a while. I've been walking Mareep. Started out with 22 candy. Up to 95 @_@

I'm pretty much in a water biome I suppose, but one popped up today, which was really amazing. Only ever caught one in the wild before & that was in a shopping area.
