Is Kingler good for anything now?

I'm seeing him placed in gyms now, but he makes a weak defender.

Kingler's best move in the main games is Crabhammer. They need to bring that into PoGo and give it to Krabby and Kingler. (Probably replacing Vice Grip, because who wants that for a charge move?)

It will be a thing if it can keep the bubble from Krabby

Is really good now, a nice dps but his special moves are multicharge, with mine (mud shot + vice whip) i beat snorlax very fast than my nidoking nerfed

To me, Kingler is still useless. It's just annoying that now he has made the high CP list and gets interleaved with much better pokemons when sorting by CP...

As a defender, because he's a water type, he will get attacked by grass types. So you would use Metal Claw / X-Scissor as the best moveset against grass. But it's still a pretty weak moveset.

As an attacker, not sure whom you would match him up against. There are much better options against Fire and against Grass.
