Idea for Prestiging at Gyms

This may sound dumb, but what if they brought back prestiging to the new gym system, except that every Pokemon you KO with your prestiger gives the Pokemon defending the gym motivation. Maybe even on top of that reward a small amount of Stardust like they do with berries if you attack friendly gyms? Just a thought.

How does looking to a mon half your strength increase motivation?

The more CP your mon has over the gym defender, the less motivation it receives, while mons equal to or greater than your CP that you defeat get more. Just brainstorming anything to make the berry inhaling system feel a little less stale lol.

I think what u're suggesting was offically called "training", bringing back training to motivate the defenders sound good to me.

Prestiging is more about gaining prestige to securing ur territory, i dont like that concept, gyms arent supposed to be territories.

Prestiging, was to build the gyms overall strength, because you wanted to keep it. "Prestiging" now is pointless because you don't want to keep it.
