I believe I have been blessed with the best location for a home.

I have been keeping tabs of the rare Pokémon I have caught and I was astounded some of them spawned right in the comforts of my own home. This curb is magical friends.

I apologize in advance if this might appear as a "bragging" post. I just can't contain my excitement after catching another Snorlax upon waking up.

Makes me wonder how many people who DON'T play pogo have crazy spawns at their homes... congrats on the spot, haha.

Now that you mentioned it, yeah. It got me thinking... What if another sweet spot spawns rares as well but the owners don't even play? Such a waste eh?

The spawns? Weeks to months. That Lapras spawned right before the water event and that Snorlax just this morning. The rest, well... last year. I'd take it though. Some people have never even seen a wild Lapras and a Snorlax. My home is also being bombarded by regular spawns e.g. Pidgeys and the like so I really never run out of dust.

I've caught two dragonites from my house. Besides that literally no other "rare" Pokémon.

Quite nice.

I have a pokestop in my house. :)

I think it has something to do with the apartments. I used to live in graduate housing and caught two Snorlax there. I caught another one not so far from the place too.
Now I have moved to another apartment cluster full of students and caught three lapras here. I have seen one Snorlax at night but did not catch it.
I guess the more people in that place play, Niantic would give more rare spawn there.

I've always kind of wondered if PoGo knows when i'm home, because this same phenomenon happens to me all the time.

For Instance, I've been out all the time during this event, but the only time a Larvitar or Aerodactyl have appeared have been from the comfort of my own couch. I've also caught many other "rare" pokemon at home.
