How Does This "Guaranteed Sinnoh Stone" Thing Work?

So I see on the Community Day guide here that it says you can get Sinnoh Stones 5 times from battling both players and the AI during Saturday and Sunday. Does that mean you get 5 stones from training alone, and then another 5 from battling a player, or is it just 5 total between the two? Also, I've seen some rumors/reports that this 5-stone thing is actually starting today and going through Monday. Can anyone confirm or deny this?

The chance for stones. If you were counting on guaranteed stones...well, maybe you should have saved some instead

Well, instead of throwing them out I already evolved 9 Mamoswine, I have 15 stones left, plus I guess these 10 free more on Saturday...TBH I’d like 10 rare candy instead

Except they explicitly stated 10 stones were guaranteed the full day of whichever day your CD falls on, 5 from trainer fights and 5 from training against the team leaders.

As I understand it, from 12.00am to 11.59pm on CD you will receive 5 guaranteed Sinnoh Stones from your first 5 trainer battles plus a further 5 guaranteed from your first 5 PvP's against another player.

Correct.

In addition, you seem to be able to do 5 Trainer and 5 Leader battles on the remaining days of the weekend (including today and potentially Monday) but these do not guarantee Sinnoh Stones.
