How do you achieve fastest XP gain?

When doing the last sprint for lvl 38. I went "all-in" for two days.
* Constant lucky egg + incense
* Evolved when no spawns were visible, to keep busy all time
* Emptied my big candy caches (900 Polliwag, 600 evee, etc)
* Walked >20km each day to hatch eggs
* Walked loop around 4 lures nearby a very good spawn site for long periods to get "evolve material"
* Used ultra and great balls on everything to get a catch on one throw.

Got 535 000 XP on two days, 14 hours altogether

During this I wondered if there are more tricks in the box?
Like in cities with dense network of pokestops, is it faster XP gain to just spin pokestops with a lucky egg?

I time my 7th day bonuses with the lucky and then just evolve like crazy.

Yeah, and ideally timed with egg hatches too. Just make sure to skip that dumb animation!

Time the 7th day catch and spin bonus with nine 10K egg hatches while lucky egg is active. Sign into multiple devices and mass evolve Piggey on device A, caterpie on device B, and weedle on device C. Same can be done for Nidoran or any other common pokemon.

So essentially what's being done is within 30 minutes a player can evolve about 70 pokemon with the evolution animation taking a bulk of the time. Multiply that by 3 devices and a player can evolve 210 pokemon with a single lucky egg :).

My biggest haul was about 300000 EXP in 30 minutes. The attach pic was the EXP haul on 1 of 3 devices in that 30 minute period. I think I hit 200000 EXP that night.

Yes, you can sign into multiple devices and there is nothing about it in their TOS so its not cheating. The key is to sign into one device, use the lucky egg, then when you sign into any other device the lucky egg will register on that device as well.

Any others? Especially in my situation on a long haul to level up, where you every other day make a big lucky egg evolution with piggeys, rats, weedles and those common ones. When you the day before have empied your easy evolved storage but do want to give it a shoot anyway, just maximize the XP throughput during a whole day?

My buddy is ashamed to show its face because it is a 100% IV level 1 pokemon. It knows I will never give it any candy or precious dust so it spends its time walking with me to get candy for others.

The poke watch helps immensely. You can set it to catch and spin for you. You can be evolving and the watch still works. I go to an area with a lot of spins and hit incense and lucky egg, and then spam evolve and the poke watch button. Typically have 9 eggs going during as well.
