Has consensus shifted from Trex B/SE to B/C?

A everyone wanted before was B/SE I have know seen multiple people say Crunch is the preferred moveset. Besides cat legendaries at some point who knows when, why has people's thoughts shifted to C over SE?

B/C outputs more damage in the long run than B/SE.

Being as no one is taking gyms seriously now, a B/SE tyranitar is kinda useless as most trainers want 2 of the same type moves on a pokemon

Yes i would also agree that 2 same type pokemons are more valuable now (for raid bosses)

Crunch will get super effective into mewtwo and stone edge doesn't. Plus I prefer multi bar moves

Lugia, Mew, Ho-Oh, Mewtwo. Crunch is just better, no strong pokemon with Crunch except Tyranitar, Stone Edge can be used by Rhydon and Golem also.
