Has anybody held off on powering up after the CP changes?
Maybe you didn't power up many to begin with or you're hoarding 100% of your dust waiting til get to level 30+.
But for me, I was powering up some of my top Pokemon until the CP changes. For example, 98% Wigglytuff Pound/PlayRough I had maxed but I stopped powering it up after it's CP changed.
Same with a few others.
However I still am powering up a 98% SlowBro Confusion/Psychic because it still has a ways to go to get powered up and I'd like it's CP higher. Also powered up 91% Jolteon to 2000 (could go higher but I stopped there), and Exeggcutor 89% Confusion/Psychic because I was already trying to max it out and I think it's still worth powering up.
Although gym defense is sort of lame right now :(
Anybody else change their powering up ways after the CP changes?
ps: 91% Gyrados went from 2000+ to 2500+ with the CP changes but I didn't bother powering him up. Just like my attacking Vaporeon, it's CP is fine where it is imo. In fact, I could have saved some dust by stopping powering up my Vap long ago.
But other than that I have been hoarding my stardust.

No changes here...Just powering up 2 Lapras before and after the CP changes as Gym defenders still. I find enough Eevees that I just evolve/use whatever and don't think they are worth powering up yet...(lvl 27).
I am tempted to power up a 91% Chansey, but wanted to wait for gen 2 to see what moves Blissey get first and from testing from others here, Chansey is still too easy to take down.
If I had better IV mons, I'd be more tempted to power them up.
I do have a 97% Jolteon, but it's low level and find the grass types are much better for Vaporeon and can do consecutive battles...
Mostly spending and enjoying my time with evolving and building a better prestige team with +/- 500 CP to train better. I always go for 500 prestige per battle.
I haven't really held off, even though the rational part of my brain keeps telling me to. I'm trying to bank a lot of stardust from the event just in case for what might be coming. But I've also spent a lot, too. I powered up my Lapras with FB/B quite a lot after hatching another one and getting more candies. And I powered up my Arcanine with FF/FB to get it back to nearly where it was before the changes.
I really don't see much point in powering up anymore as with the dodging I do all my offensive mons performs perfectly for what they need to do. All my defensive mons are already powered up to level 30+ so I don't really care about the smaller increments of additional CP. The only mon I'm working on powering up is a 86 IV Snorlax I hatched with ZH/BS
When I started playing, the more experienced players advised me to wait and not power up every decent looking Pokémon I came across. I'm Level 34 now and still haven't used 1 single unit of Stardust (almost 2.8M in the bank now) and to be honest: when you make smart choices when attacking a gym (good matchup, dodge whenever you can) you don't need a power up for any Pokémon. When defending a gym it doesn't matter anymore what you put in there since it is so easy to take a gym down anyway... So in short, just power up the Pokémon you really like... maybe because of the moveset, the type, the animation, etc., as long as you feel happy with the power up, you're fine... ;-)
I spent 150K stardust and powered up an Eggy C/P and Arcanine B/FT 2 days before the CP adjustments. I definitely wouldnt have evolved and powered up neither of these post update. Since the update Ive powered up a HP Gyrados from 2500 to 3K but other then that Ive been saving all my stardust. At 420K currently and hope to stack that dust till gen2...
Im level 34.5 and I have everything already so its easy for me to save dust. If I was lower level I think Id prolly be powering up selective mon's.
