Looking at the page for each mon it now lists how likely you are to get a male/female variant of each specific mon.
This is useful so you know to keep a specific gender variant so you have both a male and a female.
eg Snorlax female is only 12.5%, if you get one you keep it no matter the moveset or IV in case you need them for breeding in the future.
Scroll down the page...it is part of the table at the bottom, with flee and catch rates etc.
