It is better than Blissey. Basically Gyrados just looks like the best option for a Mewtwo with Focus Blast(Maybe Gengar). I would say it is a good option AFTER. Houndoom,Tyranitar, Gengar, Scizor, Pinsir, and Gyrados. I realize these pokemon are not coming easy to everyone and that is why i say it isn't a bad option. Just take your knowledge of type differences and use them to your advantage. Best of luck!

Feraligatr with Bite and Crunch
Now I know most people have acouple bite/crunch gyarados for whenever mewtwo gets released worldwide and dark type movesets and mons will only be relevant as of right now in the meta for mewtwo.
So my question is since feraligatr can get Bite and crunch as well could he be a viable choice against mewtwo? He basically is a weaker version of gyarados cp and stat wise but not by much and the only other thing is he is a pure water type and gyarados is a water/flying type. I have a 87% 1890 one with that moveset so I'm trying to figure out if it's viable or if I'm better off sticking with a gyarados army

Don't leave Dragonite off that list. He sims as well or even much better than many listed now a days as optional attackers for Mewtwo.
And in particular to the focus blast moveset, he resists fighting and his super strong STAB sets wreck house compared to many others in regards to survivability and/or overall damage.
For level 30 (Att 15) mons here is your damage (only Gary can get a 6 on Bite).
