Exeggutor Confusion / Solar Beam?

Worthy mon? Good defender? I already have a C/P and ZH/SB.

Your c/p exeggutor has the best defensive moveset in the game. Better coverage, harder to dodge, and will use its charge more often. Psychic attacks rule gen 1.

C/P is already powered up to 30. I guess I'm wondering I should do the same for the C/SB? The C/SB actually has better IVs too, and is currently level 20 (hatched).

If you need another defender and have the dust why not? Solar beam makes a better attacker though in my opinion, especially if vaporeon is popular in your area and you are lacking a good grass attacker.

Although the upcoming event may reward you with a good venusaur, and it's right around the corner!

Not as good as C/P on defence - Solar beam is too easily dodged, but perfectly serviceable - if SB hits it fries. I use mine as an all rounder - generally for attack where confusion is still serviceable, but occasionally on defence when a grass would aid a gym and my other beasts are in use.

I have a c/psy and a c/sb. I keep them really close to same cp and alternate where and when I put them. Just to keep people on their toes

All three charge moves with Confusion are strong on a defender. If there is an Exeggutor in a gym and I am adding another, I like to make sure that mine has a different charge move just to test the memory of players that are attacking,

Just some advice to people. If you say SB that could be Solar beam or Seed bomb. So maybe write S/BM S/BO or something to differentiate.

For my pokemon names, I abbreviate it:
CS, CP, CB, ZS, ZP, and ... well, I haven't kept any ZB.

When typing in online posts, I just always spell movesets out since everyone has their own abreviations.
