Dragonites movesets ranked(offence)

So I decided it would be fun to make a fun little list of all of his currently obtainable sets for attacking in this meta.

1.DT/OR(pro SE vs other Dragonites)
2.SW/OR(pro SE vs D-nite & T-rex & Rhydon/ NE vs Vaporeon)
3.DT/HB(Pro SE vs D-nite/Con NE vs T-rex & Rhydon)
4.DT/HU(Pro SE vs D-nite/Con NE vs T-rex & Rhydon & Amph)
5.SW/HB(Pro/Con SE&NE T-rex & Rhydon/ NE vs Vaporeon)
6.SW/HU(Pro/Con SE&NE vs T-rex & Rhydon/ and NE vs Ampharos & Vaporeon)

Now this is based off of SE & NE bonuses and nothing almost nothing else. Also I have been including Ampharos in because more people have been putting VS ampharoses in so I thought it was worth mentioning.

DT/O, DT/Hu, DB/DC

Everything else.

Goes here.

They're all great since they come off of Dragonite.

Yeah being able to learn mainly Dragon moves makes for a great generalist attacker.

Having great stab moves is huge for him. And that is his strong suit. While mons that have huge base stats like a B/SE Tyranitar may have great places where they really excell nothing checks all of the boxes like a Dragon moves Dragonite. He has huge stats and is generally I resisted by nothing that matters and anything that resusts him right now is too weak to discuss as a defender.

But as time goes on more exact counters will be obtained and while his stock may hold steady it is unlikely to increase.

interestingly I think sw/or will out-DPS db/dc, though the true value of DB/DC is the dodge window, nothing else comes close.

True. DB/DC has value in what you can do with it.
And what you can do with it is whatever you want.

Been wondering if I should power up my 91% steel wing outrage dragonite. It has its pros and cons. I actually posted a question about it earlier today. It's the second dragonite I've evolved. I have a legacy dragonite with breath and claw that's 60% and he beasts stuff. I'm kinda looking at it like: it's no dragon tail but it's still guna be a beast even with steenwing since it knows outrage.

Certain fast moves make dodging easier than others when you are attacking. DB is best, the SW, then DT. In general, faster charge moves also make dodging easier. HB leaves you a sitting duck for a long time, for example.

98% dragonite with ATK and HP high stats.

But it has Steel Wing and Hurricane.

Is it worth it to power up? I mean is a SW/HU dragonite better than most others or is it just not worth it? And by worth it either on D or O at all?

My opinion:
For defense yes of course, Hurricane hits fast and it gains high CP for gym placement.
For offensive: I wouldn't. SW is effective against Rhydon, but Hurricane is not. SW is also not SE against Vaporeon and Gyarados. It's still great as it's a Dragonite, but a DT+O/H or legacy DB/DC is really better.

Thank you that makes sense.

Currently use Blissey and Snorlax as my first options on D.

Might have to slot him in above Gyra for my 3rd slot once i have enough candies.

DB/HB
DT/Hu
DT/OR
DB/DP

Personal preference obviously, only the movesets I've used. I typically lean towards one bar charge moves when attacking. Cannot get used to DT, way too awkward. DB/HB is my go-to moveset. Needs more love from folks.
