Double XP Mass Evolves
Just curious... how many mass evolve sessions with a lucky egg has everyone been able to do during the Easter event? At my last count, I've done 5 since it started... roughly 80-85 evolutions each, at about 170k each time.

I used favorite star to mark everything that is ready to evolve, sort by favorites, set a timer, pop the lucky egg and go to town. I don't spend time doing anything else but evolves (usually watching tv before bed while doing this). As far as the speed to get 80-85... I have an iphone 6S so not sure if that has anything to do with it? I get some lag seldomly but for the most part, no lag
I've done one every day. One day I think I did two. But they weren't super efficient mass evolve sessions as I did a bit of other stuff as well. I've probably only evolved an average of 50 or 60 mon per session. I think I have been averaging something like 200k xp a day during this event. This has put me at level 32, which I'm happy with since I only started playing two months ago. However, despite being level 32 I feel hopelessly behind. This is probably due to a large part of my xp coming from lucky egg mass evolves and the fact that I have barely caught anything interesting in the wild. Almost everything good I have is a result of egg hatching and powering up those hatches. I still don't have a usable Dragonite for instance. I just evolved my first and he had Steel Wing/Hyper Beam, lol.
I will do a last one tomorrow, but I don't think I have more than 15-20 mon left to evolve.
I have done 3. I am doing the 4th one tomorrow just before the event ends.
I do normally 83 evolutions per egg, if I don't lag or miss click I can get to 85 max. This 4th egg won't be complete because I only have around 50 more mon to evolve but it is worth anyway so I will use it and catch everything I can when it is over.
This does not answer my question. I tell you my calculation:
You say, you did 150 mass evolution sessions. This is 150 half hours, or 75 hours, or 3 days (a 24 bours) and 3 hours. This is already half the time of the event until now.
For 150 Mass evolutions, you need (besides all the candy you may have collected before) at least 70 pokemon, (2-step-evolutions ignored), this makes 70 * 150 = 10500 Pokemon, assuming you already have 500 Pokemon, there are 10.000 to be cought during event.
Please tell me, how you did this.
Your phone determines how fast you can go...Also, people on iPhone can exit the app and restart and is still faster than watching the animation.
For those phones, it can take a mere 5 seconds to reload so they can do 100+ evolves per session and at times, over 130.
I'm on Android and my phone is very old so get normally only 60-70 evolves per egg. Restarting can lock me out at times and every evolve party has resulted in hangs/lag.
So far, I've done 6 and plan to do 2 more sessions so that's good enough for me...
Plan to also stock up on at least one more lucky egg 25 pack and possibly 2...I don't think 50% off will be around that often (maybe once a year)...Probably won't need that much though since I doubt I'd get enough candies to use them all before the next sale.
