Does higher trainer level mean more CP per power up & more CP when my pokemon hits max cap??

Example:

Me as a level 30 trainer powering up Snorlax
vs.
Me as a level 40 trainer powering up the same Snorlax (same CP + other stats)

Which Snorlax would have higher CP in the end?

The answer is no, the two possibilities would lead to the same Snorlax with the same CPs. The trainer level simply limits how many times you can power up your Snorlax. If you reach the limit, level up the trainer to unlock more power ups. The amount of CP gained by powering up a Pokémon is determined only by the Pokémon itself (species, level, IVs).

On youtube some guy says the higher your trainer level the more CP your pokemon will have at the end.

See here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7DjNNhDpzBQ

Or did i understood him wrong?

Well, the video is terrible! It's flagged with "Math", but there is no math in it!
However in the description it quotes a few pages of this site, and in one of these pages (http://pokemongo.gamepress.gg/pokemon-stats-advanced ) there is actual math. If you read the whole page, you can see that the trainer level has no role in the CP calculation (except for limiting the number of power ups you can do).
Maybe I can't explain myself very well, but the point is:
if you are level 20, of course your Pokémon won't be as strong as if you were level 40, but only because you won't be able to power up them as many times. But in the moment you catch up with the levels, the result will be the same. It won't matter if you leveled your Pokémon step by step following the growth of your level, or if you waited until level 40 and only then you leveled your Pokémon.
I hope I have explained myself clearly enough!
