Does egg hatched pokemon stronger then caught in wild?

They appear to have close to max CP (for when you received the egg) when they hatch, but not confirmed.

They certainly yield more candy than wild pokemon, especially the 10.0 km distance eggs. The higher level and cp would basically be akin to them coming with more XP in the main games, though, in the main games, they do not do this, they hatch at level 1 with 0 XP, the point being that in both cases final potential is determined by moves, IV's, and natures, the last of which is seemingly not present--yet?--in this game. (Albeit, in the main games, there are also egg moves.)
