Do you agree with the updated per DPS type list?

Jynx dies soooo quickly so i dont understand why she's there. Do you agree with the movesets chosen or which moves do you personally prefer? I'll keep my 91% lv. 34 Confusion/Solarbeam Exeggutor.

dps is damage per second not effectiveness in battle.

Because that's subjective. Some people dodge, some don't, some prioritise total damage dealt therefore higher HP becomes more valuable, rather than how fast they can take down one Pokemon, others value potion efficiency so higher defence becomes more valuable to them, et cetera.

One example. Lapras vs Cloyster for ice type attackers, with the same moveset.

Lapras has more HP so it'll do more total damage before fainting / take down more Dragonites before needing to be swapped out, while Cloyster has higher attack so will take out a single Dragonite slightly faster than a Lapras will.

Cloyster has higher defence so if only fighting one Dragonite, it'll probably use up 2 potions or 1 super potion while the Lapras might need 1 super and a regular potion for example.

This comparison is with the same moveset. When you're comparing quick moves with different cooldowns, energy gain and so forth then it becomes even more complicated trying to figure out the best Pokemon for something.

It's just a calculation of the highest damage output for move types ... it's not subjective or opinion-based. I'm not really sure you understand what the list entails. It's not something one agrees / disagrees with, thems just the facts.

I'll keep my 91% lv. 34 Confusion/Solarbeam Exeggutor.

The reason Bullet Seed/Solar Beam Exeggutor is on the list and not Confusion/Solar Beam Exeggutor is because Confusion/Solar Beam is not a Grass type moveset; it's a mixed type. The only time a mixed type appears on the list is when there is no pure moveset of the type being examined (e.g., see Fairy type).
