Is Ditto only in 2km egg pokemon?

I've wasted tons of balls y every mon that appears so, it would be useful to know if it only appears on ratattas, pideys etc.
Sorry for make another question with same theme but i dont know what to do XD

Pidgey and Ratatta can't be hatched anymore.

I have caught two dittos that appeared as Pidgey. I have a friend who caught a Ratatta that became a Pidgey. I have not heard of ditto hiding as other Pokémon. I am also curious if that is possible.

Your friend caught a Rattata and it became a Pidgey??? Sure you mean it became a Ditto. I caught four so far, disguised as Rattata, Magikarp, Zubat and Pidgey
