Change in frequency of evolution items?

Has anyone noticed an increase in the frequency of evolution items? I got a Kings rock on one of the first few days, on my seven day streak bonus spin. I had not gotten one since, and now within the last five PokéStop spins I have gotten a Sunstone and an upgrade for Porygon2. Has something changed within game mechanics, or have I just gotten lucky? I usually hit between 30 and 40 PokéStops each day.

Unless it changed in the last few hours I think you have just got lucky...congrats.

Well some additional clarity: I got the upgrade last night on my 3rd-to-last spin of the day, and I got the Sunstone this morning on my second spin of the day. So it was separated by several hours. Unfortunately I don't have enough Porygon candies

I never got the 7 day streak one when that existed and I have only gotten 1 since the power up. I spin around 100 times a day (bike shop next to my house is a stop).
