Boosted Cloyster not added to new tier list?
Why is the boosted cloyster not in the new defender tier list? Is it not a mini lapras, with different base stats?(higher def, lower stamina)

Maybe Alakazam is only on the list because of the Confusion + Psychic combo, which is one of the best defending movesets in the game and largely unresisted by the major attackers. With his massive attack stat, he hits very hard with those moves. Ice moves on the other hand are resisted by fire types, who are popular to use against ice/water types. And Cloyster's attack stat isn't that high anyway. And you never know, he might be in tier 4 or something, but tier 4 and below aren't shown in the chart.
