Blissey a deterrent EXCEPT...
I don't know what you guys do, but the one time Blissey is personally not a deterrent is when I encounter a Level 10 Gym 50k/50k with a Blissey at the bottom. Even when I have no plans of taking down the entire gym I can't help but "uncap" the gym by knocking off that bottom Blissey. Feels like I'm doing a favour for my team, plus it kinda pisses off the person who put that Blissey in :P
Anyone else do this? :)

The best place for Blissey is in spots 7, 8 and 9th since low level people won't be able to clear the whole gym and they would have to constantly fight 3 Blisseys in a row till the prestige drops to < 20k. Even high level people would be annoyed since Blissey usually uses 1 of their attackers and they'd have to rely on 3 attackers to clear out the 6 other mons over Blissey...
Just a real long slog.
The problem is gym shaving is rampant in my area now so 1 bottom Blissey would be knocked off, and replaced with a higher mon way up...like a Gyarados, Rhydon, Dnite or Snorlax.
I saw someone do this just today.
I must be doing it wrong.
I see Blissey, and it attracts me to the gym. I think..."hahaha so you thought this would stop me"
Then I send her home...or them home.
I live in one of those areas where Chansey was on every street corner during the event.
Sure, I got lots of Chansey...but so did everyone else in the area.
The biggest Blissey or any gym deterrent is Gym location. If the gym is located in a busy and invoncient poke stop or a graveyard a simple Gyarados would last for months. The second biggest Blissey deterrent is trainer level. I expect you need to be at least level 29-30 to a high level one. The last Blissey deterrent is time. I have a theory Niantic made Blissey like this to make us purchase more space to store potions.
I can't believe any serious gym battler wouldn't have long ago maxed out their item storage with free pokecoins from holding gyms, although I suppose in some areas, it's hard to collect on more than a couple of gyms per day. To me, it always seemed obvious to spend pokecoins on a permanent upgrade that will benefit me in perpetuity before buying things like incubators that have a finite usage. I guess you could make a case for lucky eggs up until level 30.
I LOVE taking out bottom Blisseys, especially if it's put in by a player with much lower level than everyone else in the gym. It's obvious that the player doesn't belong in the gym, and it's fun to send their Blissey (probably their absolute BEST mon) back home to them in need of a max revive, or a revive with a bunch of potions. :)
Any help is appreciated. A lot of team valor players are dominating the local gyms with multiple blisseys and various annoying pokemon. Some of them are cheating (duplicate accounts / gps spoofer), and multiple almost maxxed blisseys (lv 38 to lv 39) in all the nearby gyms. I find it hard to believe a player who doesnt cheat can have 3 or more maxxed out blisseys to occupy myltiple gyms.
Its not difficult for me to solo the gym, but it does take up half my potions / revives and about 2hrs each time and about probably 4 battles. I cant take out both blisseys together, but I found that on reaching the 2nd blissey, its best for me to just wait for timeout, instead of having all six pokemon fainting.
I dont cheat and so my current best team is 2 Vaporeons, an Exeggcutor, an Espeon, a Flareon, 2 Jolteons, and 2 Poliwraths.
I am trying to train up my Rhydon but Stone Edge seems pretty useless (the dmg is so much lower than Solar Beam, and doesnt seem to affect the bar anymore than a rock smash).
Between Rhydon (RS/SE), Poliwrath (Counter/DP), Ursaring (Counter/CC), a couple of Machops but only 86 candy. what should I train to keep up, although I know I really cant.
Kinda want to quit at the moment with all this cheating, and I cant imagine how to take on 10 Blissey gyms. Or is trying to legitly trying to get 10 coins a day just something that shouldnt be given to lv 30 players like me?
