Best Fire type now?

I feel like it would be between Flareon, Arcanine, and Charizard now. Pre-patch, it would be hands down Arcanine, but since his nerf and the buffs to the others, I'm not so sure anymore. I just happen to have a high IV one of each, and they all have Fire Blast. Which one should I invest in?

regarding to base atk stats and efficiency (227 atk and high hp pool) I'd go for Arc if it has a moveset like (fire fang-fire blast or bite-fireblast) It's a good mon.

Flareon is not bad either , I guess it has been buffed CP wise , it would not be a bad idea to power it up too. Its ATK is better than Arcanine's but its HP pool is not great as much as Arcanine's...

Can't go wrong with Arcanine. Flareon's buff makes him nearly equal to Arcanine in damage output but he has less HP. Charizard has better typing and his Wing Attack is not resisted by many Pokemon, but Arcanine still has the highest DPS

Does Arcanine really have the highest DPS still? This is mostly concerning Grass types by the way. Fire Fang+Fire Blast outdamages Wing Attack+Fire Blast? From what I've observed, Wing Attack has a higher DPS (lower energy output though).

The shorter duration on Fire Fang makes Arcanine easier to attack and dodge with.

No... With fire fang you can squeeze three attacks between dodges against slower quick moves like confusion and with bite you can get 6-7 in. WA is 2 max.

Wing Attack (0.75s CD) is faster than Fire Fang (0.84s CD).
