Anyone wish to share their current game motivations?

I'm currently training for a marathon and hatching eggs & gaining extra buddy xandy as an extra incentive to meet my mileage quota per day. How about everyone else? & would anyone level 33+ like to share what keeps them motivated?

I'm Level 39, and I pretty much just collect 100 coins everyday.

Powering up better gym defenders and seeing how many gyms I can be in at one time and how long they hold. Was in 12 when I woke up this morning, lost 1 during the day. Am currently in 17 and have been for about 4 hours.

I'm doing the exact same thing. Running for 20+ km is just plain boring by itself. PoGo keeps me distracted while I go through the motions.

Just level 32. I walk a lot to hatch eggs. Still enjoy all the parts of the game. Never used any sort of cheat. I think that helps with the interest level.

I am level 32, but I have a few motivations. I'm trying to evolve optimal move sets for a few mon (Clefable, Dragonite, Venusaur, Blastoise, Charizard, Machamp, Cloyster). I only get a try every few weeks at at least one of these. I'm also developing prestige teams. One less that 1700cp, one less than 1000cp. I preparing for a mass evolution of Eevee, whenever gen 2 comes out. I'm developing some skills. My curve ball is iffy and I kind of suck at dodging. Finally, I just like walking around. If occasionally I can find something a little thrilling to catch while I'm walking, so much the better. If I just grind while walking, its ok.

Also at Level 32, and trying to learn a lot more about prestiging, although the slow gyms I'm in mean battling is rare and I still get 100 coins daily - enough to buy incubators that makes walking my fitbit steps more interesting (PoGo and fitbit work great together).
My current Mission:Impossible - get 9/9 10K eggs - I'm up to 4 so far - will certainly abandon that if an Easter Egg event shows up (fingers crossed) - if not, I might get to that by Halloween and a double candy event with all 10K eggs would be pretty "sweet"!

At this point it's all about my pokedex and gym battles. After reaching level 31, I stopped caring about exp.

Yeah I'm still missing Lapras and a few babies, but gym battles are limited since we don't have a poke center in the game. The exp aspect doesn't matter since you only level up to incrementally power up Pokémon.

I play when walking my dog to make it more interesting. I've gotten tired, though, of having to constantly manage my inventory of mons. I have 750 spaces but keep running into the limit. I'm also tired of the mass evolve sessions and am hoarding lots of candies (over 1000 eevee, 1300 magikarps, 500 slowpokes) in hope that gen2 and new moves come out soon. L33.

Lvl 34 player, i'm currently playing 1.5 hours a day walking and catching everything i encounter. It's good for the health so i consider it a guilt free pleasure. My goal now is to get to lvl35 so that i can power up the last 2 Snorlax, and have the first 12 on the 3000CP range.

I am also a Marathon runner who finds PoGo convenient to hoard mileage.

My motivation is to continuously improve my Pokemon team that I have separated into three weight classes:

a) the heavy-weighters who face rival teams as attackers or defenders at gyms - here, CP efficiency is no issue.

b) the middle-weighters, with CP in the 800-1500 range who act as prestigers - here, CP efficiency is a concern.

c) the fly-weighters in the 10-30 CP range who are used as Bubblestratters (Diglet, Horsea, ...)

I use battle simulators to identify high-performing individuals for a) and b) and use GamePress tables for Bubblestratters.

I have fun grinding (Marathon runners tend to be patient and persistent ?), seeing my team improve little by little.

Level 34, 50k away from 35, been playing since day 1 and my only motivation left is to get dratini candies (still need around 70 more candies to have both of my Dragonites maxed to level 35), and to hatch a Lapras with 2 ice move (already have the candies to power up as soon as I get him).

Nothing more left, I am at 8 "stable" gyms since 15 days ago getting easy 100 coins per day just taking two more gyms on my way to work, it is hard to find the motivation to keep playing, 99% of what I see are clusters of rattata/pidgey/weedle/caterpie etc...I don't even remember when was the last time I looked at the new "amazing" tracker and saw something that actually made me walk to that stop to get it.

The starter event was not bad but I already had all my pokédex completed by then and I did not enjoy it a lot. The last time I really wanted to go out and play was during halloween event, it really made me go out and walk a lot to take advantage of the 2x candy and reduced buddy distance.

I really wish there is something big coming soon, at this moment all I can think is they will make a stupid nidoran male and female event on Valentine's and again a month more without anything, I will probably leave the game if they do so, only log to get my coins and daily streak and log off.

The nest migrations are one of the big things that keep me playing. It seems that there is always an interesting new nest popping up nearby. If I stumble upon it on my own, so much the better. Currently, I'm farming a Scyther nest once or twice per day, until it goes away in a week.

I'm lvl 34, BTW. And I'm also motivated by "catching 'em all" in the wild, as opposed to evolving or hatching them.
