anybody saving energy.?
Other than the free incubator is there anything else for the first part of this unchrismas event. Well im just keeping all my gas money and energy for the second part of the event where ill double or triple my playing time to get the candy for the starters. anybody else doing that?

I've been hatching a lot only because there is no end to the amount of Stardust I need to do the things I wanna do, and also I'm hoping for another Togepi so I can evolve to Togetic.
My RNG may be "mine" but so far I am not seeing a huge proliferation of the new babies in my hatches - only one Elekid and two Igglybuffs... I'll estimate I've hatched 7-8 2k eggs, at least 20 5k eggs, and 6-7 10k eggs since the event began. I did, however, get another Porygon (98% IV!!!) and a Lapras (89% IV).
So I wouldn't hesitate to keep on hatching if you'd otherwise be inclined.
If everyone waited for events to play before they put effort into the game we'd still all be level 10.
I understand once you pass level 30 there is very little incentive to keep going. Things literally grind to a halt (pun intended).
But for some of us, we play regardless of what's happening for events. I like to go up levels, but I never played just to go up levels. I love to walk and as such Pokemon Go is something I do while doing my real hobby (just being active). If, however, you're only walking and/or being active because you're playing pokemon go, then I can see how it's almost not even worth it past level 30. There's almost nothing left to do except level up. And even then, there's almost no incentive to level up as the diminishing returns on levels truly begins at level 30. Much more effort for much less gain.
Have dog...need to walk rain/shine/negative degree temperatures. This makes playing easy.
Easily level up faster than people who drive since that wastes gas (more than 10 cents per gym) and you hatch eggs, get buddy candy faster...
I generally try to avoid driving unless I really need to restock the bag for some heavy catching sessions (say, taking a trip or going to a new place to play POGO)...
