I have a 89% Golem with rock throw and earthquake, and 20 candy. There are no geodudes in my area, I had to walk more than 120 km with one I hatched as my buddy. Should I power him up with this 20 candys or wait for a second evolution? He in 1648 cp now.
Not really. They aren't good defenders and you probably have better attackers already.
The only type that takes super effective damage from both moves is Fire type, and you probably have a Vaporeon already.
Plus if you wanted good coverage you'd rather have Mud Slap + Stone Edge since both moves do more neutral DPS than the current moves you have.
It's good, but not the best.
If you wanna pure rock type dmg, Rock Throw + Stone Edge is better.
If you wanna pure ground type dmg, Mud Slap + Earthquake is better.
If you wanna highest general dps, Mud Slap + Stone Edge is better
If you wanna combined rock + ground dmg but more ground, that's what you have, but why would you want that...
Although it's not the best, but overall it's good enough to train for entertainment.
