200 Candies to evolve to a MEGA-EVOLUTION?

Not only would this be a clear and concise way of introducing Mega Evolutions into Pokémon Go, but it would also mean players have to continue grinding their relevant candy (obviously not all Pokémon have mega evos).

So you have the perfect moveset 100%IVs Venusaur? So what? Start from scratch and grind another 200 candies for the Mega Venusaur.

But should megas be banished from gyms?

You never know. People play games that are decades old. Some with huge followings.

Actually I don't know why you dislike his comment, I would say even more time, if they release 2 gens per year (being very generous) we gonna need at least the time he said to see mega evolutions in pokémon go.

I am gonna say something you gonna hate maybe but it "only" took 6 months to get mass transfer and we were asking for it since day 1. And I don't want even to talk about legendaries...we can't even complete gen1 pokédex.

Bring it on, my Slaking is better than all your megas (except M. Ray and MMX and MMY, but shush)

Well, it'll need some smart way to introduce this, because in the original games you can have only ONE mega evolution on your team (this would be easy) and they only mega evolve during battle, so you'll need a different system. The fellow above talke about Slaking, that is useless on the original game due to his ability, but have some freaking high stats, when (or IF) he comes, niantic will have to figure out a way to weaken him, since poGO monsters doesn't have abilities.
