Overview

Though not remotely close to living up to its main series glory, Skarmory at least puts up a fight for raid solo enthusiasts. Its defense stat was nerfed with the stat recalculation, but at level 40 there are only a handful of viable counters without weather boost, many of which have limited availability.

Skarmory’s power has never been anything notable. Only extremely frail counters like Deoxys-N have to worry about survivability.

Approach

Team composition

  • Fire: boosted in clear weather; Electric: resist Sky Attack and Brave Bird

Dodging strategy

  • The only counters that benefit from dodging are Blaziken and Deoxys-N

Good movesets are not necessarily viable at the level indicated.
