On Thursday, October 25 2018, Niantic announced a "Special Raid Challenge" day happening on November 3, 2018! During Community Day hours, Gengar will be available as a raid boss all over the world, and players will have the chance to get a shiny Gengar! Just like the Legendary Bird day, players will also receive 5 free Raid Passes!
It's also been said by the official Pokemon website that Gengar will have the charge move Psychic when caught during the 3 hour period!
OCTOBER 26 2018 UPDATE: Also, as confirmed by YouTuber Reversal, Lick will be an exclusive quick move for Gengar!
