Will they raise the level cap?
Now that I hit 40 I'm wondering how long it will be until they increase the max level. Or will they? What do you think/expect, and what do you want Niantic to do?
As for me, I hope they eventually raise it, but not too soon ;)

Raising the level cap IS new content to many of the dedicated players. As long as the new levels don't give a significant advantage (which probably means pokemon level cap needs to stay at level 40), it doesn't take anything away from those who are not interested in the insane grind to get to max level. Plenty of games out there have level caps ridiculously high.
Having wild weather boosted spawns go to L35 seems like a step towards this. Raising the level cap to 50 and requiring a total of 200Mxp to get there seems reasonable. Getting Pokemon from L40 to L50 would likely take double the candy and dust for the same improvement as 30-40. It won't change the game much, nor take much to implement.
