Will next week be ex raid pass handed out?

Since the next ex raid is on 25th Dec, the next invitation should be exactly on 1st of January.
Will there be an invitation on that time? The exact new year's day where most of the people would go travel and have fun with their family.
I myself failed to get an invitation on the Christmas day(which in my country we do not celebrate) despite my hard dedication.
I decide to pause on high dedicate mode (raid on 2 parks on the gym that is expected to give out invitation every single time in the week)
It would be a bad joke if people get invited on new year and no one shows up.
